Comuniq was founded in 1987 and began developing PC-based telephony
products such as PBX, Call Centers, Voicemail, Interactive Voice
Response, Automatic Call Distribution, IP Telephony, Fax, Soft Modems
and ISDN Routers. The corporate headquarters is located in Oslo, the
capital of Norway. The company's European Technology Center is located
in Stavanger on the west coast of Norway.
One of Comuniq's significant customers is the Norwegian PTT. Through the
years, the Norwegian PTT has also developed into an important partner in
high-end systems and solutions. Working with PTTs has provided Comuniq
with valuable insight into the telecomm industry and requirements.
In July 1999, Comuniq incorporated a research and development office in
Rapid City, South Dakota, U.S.A. in order to meet the increased demands
of qualified development skills. Comuniq, Inc is subsidiary of the parent
company, Comuniq ASA of Norway. |
